bright yellow/gold color. Nose is quite grainy, and grassy. Flavour is got a tinge of sweet malt, but i expected more. It’s kinda bland, i was expecting a bit more of a malt profile. A decent beer, but i’m still a little disapointed.

Big can from the State store in Charlottetown. Pours a brilliantly clear deep golden color with a good sized bubbly white head that lasts forever. Sweet grainy bready pilsner and faint spicy floral hops. Flavor follows the aroma quite well. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. A bit sweet but easy enough to drink, I enjoyed this.

473ml can from an LCBO in Toronto. Amber with a loose white head; aroma of farmyard straw; crisp, sweet, malty taste; and hardly any finish. As bland and indifferent as many European pilsners.

Draught at Craft Beer Market, Vancouver
Blond color. Not just vulgar corn, but also some crisp malt aroma. Dry but soft mouthfeel; a light crispy malt touch; fairly bitter. The final gets papery too. Not too bad.

On tap at Craft Beer Market Vancouver, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of grass, corn and other adjuncts. Flavour is similar, with grass, crisp crackery malts, and a slight sweetness. Drinkable and clean, but not the most elegant pilsner. Decent.

Smells saazy, though I could be wrong on that. Pours golden with some decent duration head. Taste has a little bitterness and some crips malt. A touch of sweetness on the long term aftertaste. Alright for style. Tall can.

Gold, lasting white head, small bead.Faint spicy hop nose.effervescent noble hop profile, however a metallic finish spoils this somewhat. Possibly a bad bottle, will rerate at a later date.

Indeed, this is a light-bodied pilsner with minimal taste. Unoffensive, unintruding, not a great example of the style yet you won’t be offended by its taste. It’s one of those proof-of-concept beers you often get from a micro - sure you can do it, but what do you intend to do with it?

Canette 473ml.
