Flasche 0,33l: Bernstein, dunkles Orange, deutliche Trübung, kräftiger stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; sehr fruchtige + recht würzige Nase, kräftige frische Hopfennoten, Mango, Maracuja, Grapefruit, etwas Pinie, Malz, Getreide, etwas Karamell, kräftige Hefearomen, angenehme fruchtig-würzige Bitterkeit; sehr fruchtiger + sehr würziger Körper, kräftig-würzige Süße, kräftige frische Hopfennoten, Mango, Grapefruit, Grapefruitzest, Pinie, Malz, Getreide, etwas Karamell, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, kräftige Hefearomen; angenehmer fruchtig-würziger Nachgang

Bottle at a tasting. Unpleasant alcohol presence and vegetal grassy astringency. Seems to be overhopped in terms of bitterness and overall hops usage, while not taking away much character from this practice. Average.

Bottle at October with tasting, donated by Rauchbierlover, many thanks. Hazy orange color with medium white head. Caramel, citrus hops in hops. Solid malty base followed by nice citrus hoppy kick.

Bottle at tasting, thanks Cuso. Hoppy aroma and taste, malty notes, resin, caramel notes, ripped fruit, medium bitter, light sweet notes. Full body, hoppy bitter finish with light alcohol notes. Ok.

Bottle on verge of expiring. Amber with a creamy white head that lingers. Aroma of caramelized fruits, ginger, grass. Taste is bitter, more so at the end with increased resin. Pleasant caramel and apricot aftertaste. Medium body, balanced carbonation, warm at the end. Good.

27/4/2019. Bottle from Die Bierothek, Leipzig. Pours pale amber with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, toffee, hops, grass and malt. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness and hint of tartness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Nice bitter finish. Good all-rounder.

F60 Paranoid IPA vom Labieratorium, Fläschchen per Post von der Bierothek, Bamberg. - Orangerot, gut trüb. - In der Nase üppige IPA-Hopfenaromen, nicht zu herbe Pampelmuse, marmeladige Mango, Nadelwald und Harz. - Antrunk kernig hopfenherb mit süßer, vor allem aber stark bitterer Orangenkonfitüre. Wirklich wuchtige Hopfenbittere. Milder rezent, ölig schwer, leicht trocken. Krass harzig-pampelmusig bitterer Abgang. - Knallig herbes, marmeladig-orangenbitteres IPA, das für meinen Geschmack etwas runder sein könnte. Trotzdem schade, daß dies schon mein letztes Bier vom Laboratorium ist - diese Burschen haben in den wenigen Jahren ihres Wirkens eine steile Lernkurve hingelegt und hatten ganz klar Potential.
