Thin beige head on a clear amber coloured body. Lemonade & malt aroma. Medium bodied, tingly & dull in the back. Malt, lime, cardboard & tobacco tastes. Poor.

Bottle at lowestoft picked up from local coop. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a a lasting small white head. Aroma is earthy grains, damp hay, spicy green hop, little beg. Flavour is composed of super mineral, spicy, wet soggy grass. Meh. Palate is dry, mineral, chalky, dry finish. Meh.

500ml bottle. Eye - clear dark gold. small white head, nice retention but very slow moving carbonation for a 4% beer. Nose - biscuit malts, grain, hint of citrus. A bit dull. Taste - biscuit, a slightly sour citrus note then bitterness kicks in with a stale dry cracker/Ryvita. I guess this is the 'twiggy' people mention. Palate - light bodied and wet but then quite a dry astringent finish. Carbonation had a bit more zing than I thought but could do with a touch more. Overall - drinkable but a poor English golden ale.

ThoughtI should tick this 'brewery' off. Bought down the road from my house. Malty aroma with a fruity streak. Golden-brown. Thin creamy translucent off-white head. Starts off light-medium bitter with a good dose of malts. However it has a sour streak and this not pleasant element gradually dominates. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long astringent finish. Didn't bother finishing it. Not good.

Bottle at home, 11/11/18. Clear golden with a decent lasting white head. Nose is biscuit, dusty fruits, grains, straw. Taste doesn't inspire ... crackers, grains, biscuit, hint of citric peel, twiggy elements. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Pretty dull.

Bottle from Co-op Seaton. Golden with orange glow. Malty, medium-bodied with shy hints of caramel. Good fruity-piney hops round it off. Smooth palate.

Deep gold in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish pale ale, with some flabby malts, touch of leafy hop and moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle from Cooperative Supermarket, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a small head. Steady without being spectacular ale with light caramels in both aroma and taste.
