Bottle from the Coop in Newbiggin by the Sea. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - lemon and barley. A bit lemon sherbet in fact. Taste - more of that sweet lemon with barley at the back again. Palate - light bodied. Fairly fresh but could take more bitterness for the style. Overall - ok.

Bottle the local Co-op. Golden colour with a white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste. Very bland and a touch flat.

Bottle from Coop and drunk on a train. Some Robinson yeast character some ok pale malt. Some grassy hop. I didn’t think it bad. Its a srandard golden ale with some decent bitterness on the finish. I thought ok.

Bottle from Co-Op. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is sweet malt, light fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth woofy hop bitter palate. Serverd warm thankfully. Fine for a session but hardly overflowing with flavour.

500ml bottle: BBE Feb 18. Shared with my wife, at home on 26th Apr 17. Poured into a couple of Leffe badged chalices just because I wanted too. Clear golden amber body, thin white head. Fruity nose and taste with a caramel sweetness for an underbelly. Didn’t really enjoy this: the Co-op IPA Robinsons do is much better in my opinion.

Clear, dark golden beer. Thin white head. Bubbles rising through it. Smell is slightly tinny. Flavour is too. Some caramel and a bit of maltiness to it bit... blegh. Watery and enough unpleasantness in the taste and aftertaste to wash out the fruit and caramel and take a beer from that would have been crisp and refreshing, if not especially flavoursome, to just being a bit nasty.

50cl bottle from my local Co-op, Bracknell. Pale amber with a loose cream head; slightly spicy aroma; fruity malt body, with soem underripe grapefruit providing the bitterness; and a biscuity finish. Very drinkable.
