Can from Family Shopper, Salford, as Black Ace Dry Cider by Bestway. Deeper golden coloured. Is slightly dry, has nothing sweet about it, its apple flavour is drab but its strength probably has much to do about this. Standard strong canned cider.

500ml can of 'Black Storm' from local store. Eye - gold, fizzy white head, some scattering left due to high carbonation. Nose - stale apples, sugars and sweetener. Taste - very sweet, some ok light apples mid-palate, dry finish. I've had much worse. Palate - light but in a good way as you don't want the sugars hanging around the palate to long, zingy carbonation, clingy dryness on the roof of the palate. Overall - rubbish but better than Diamond White as mentioned in a previous review. Its far from a drain pour.

500ml can, as Bestway 'Black Ace', from Off License, Borehamwood. Clear golden amber colour, white foam head that gradually dissipates away and aroma of cardboard, sulphur, sick. Taste is astringent tart apple flavour, some citric rind, along with cardboard and sulphury notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, quite a dry acidic finish. Not the best...

500mL can "Black Storm" delivered from Just OK Britain via Leighton. Oh Jesus, this is terrible. Tastes like an instant headache, sweet candy apples, and high boost. Some fusels. Lenin doesn't mind it. Not sure if this is surprising or not surprising.
