Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Malty and hoppy with grapefruit, caramel, some pine resin, orange, cascade. Nicely bitter with some sweetness as well. Nice balance of malt and hop, old school, US IPA with a touch of English IPA.

Bière pression. J'ai eu la chance de déguster cette Pale Ale directement chez le brasseur à Amsterdam et je dois dire que j'ai été très agréablement surprise. Elle est super bonne, fraîche et avec des notes d'agrumes. La bière est parfaitement équilibrée et se boit très facilement. Je recommande vivement de la goûter si vous êtes de passage à Amsterdam.

Draught, 6.3% at Zest. Almost clear dark cooper colour. Small head. The flavour is caramelly with overripe fruit. Chalky notes. Good bitterness. Fruity and slightly spicy finish.

Presented as Pale Ale at the source. Pours a deep golden colour, slightly hazy, and a dense off white head with good retention. Aroma's: fruity, schuimpjes, with some bitterness retronasal. Flavour is rather (harsh) bitter. Light medium bodied. Finishes firmly bitter, harsh. A bit weird.

Bottle. Deep golden color, hints of butter and flowers in the aroma and flavor. Bready, sweetish. Surprisingly little hops, it Tastes more like a Bavarian Maerzen.
