Canned. Black colour, brown head. Aroma is nutty, liquorice, some cinnamon and some toffee tones. Flavour is spicy, some cinnamon, nutty and toasted with some vanillaish wood and iquorice. Tonka beans a bunch, but doesn't mention those would have been used.

Very good greige head over jet-black beer. Nuts, meatroast, grainy, roasted nuts, ketjap, deepfrying oil, pastrycrust. Sweet, again quite malty, mild (meat)roast, hint at mineral, faint oakleaf. Obviously very well-bodied, viscous, alcoholheat. Velvety texture. Good, if rather sweet for an unadulterated (tonka-ed, vanilla-ed, marshmallow-ed,...) stout.

Keg, half-pint in the Tap & Can Shrewsbury on 11th August 2021. Black with a tanned head. Deep, rich malty front to the nose and taste, chocolate, leather and coconut esters/flavours; boozy and interesting.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20200104) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and something resembling tonka beans. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, something resembling tonka beans sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, cocoa powder, dark chocolate and bitterness. A pleasant brew with complex burnt malts notes.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige leggera. Al naso note di cocco, cannella, cioccolato. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, speziata, cioccolatosa, con chiusura appena amara, leggero piccante. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Non male.
