Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is roasted malt with cocoa, chocolate, coffee, some bittering hops, not really fruity, notes of ash, light flowery. Flavour is mildly sweet with a moderate to medium bitterness and a slight dryness in the finish. Body is light to medium. Not much of a Black IPA, lacks fruity hops, but it's a fine Stout.

Foamy beige head left a creamy cover on a mahogany coloured still body. Chocolate, malt & toffee aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a thinner lively back. Toffee, burnt, malt, roasted & chocolate with a lightly hopped finish. Goes down well.

Luke 11 i min ultrahemmelige julekalender viste seg å innehode to overraskelser!
