[33cl can from Aldi, Bracknell.] A bright pale amber pour with a billowing white head; slightly dusty blood orange aroma; sweet orange taste with a caramel malt body; then a light citrus bitterness ans some warmth. Pleasant, but nothing more.

Can from local Aldi. Aroma is mainly oranges with some sweetness and hops. Pours a golden orange with a decent off-white head and good lacing. In the mouth some fruity hops hit the tongue first, quickly followed by sweet oranges, bitter marmalade and hints of other citrus. Finish is bittersweet – but in a good way. For ac cheapo supermarket beer, this is quite good. Hides its strength well too

330ml can from Aldi, York. Deep amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Some citrus character, grassy hops, sweet orange marmalade, chewy malts and a dryish finish. Good.

Can from Aldi Inverurie. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, candy, jelly babies, gummy bears, orange marmalade, earth and resin. The taste is initially dry, then bitter-sweet, peppery, resin, oiliness, pithy, tangy orange, orange jelly babies, jelly beans, pithy, blood orange, pomegranate, earthy and touch of toffee with dryness and (blood)orange peel through the finish. Average body and moderate+ carbonation. Actually probably a bit better than expected. Certainly the aroma is rather sweet, but the taste not so.

Can from Aldi Supermarket, Milnrow. Golden with a thick frothy-bubbly head. Has plenty of strong orange notes in both aroma and taste and is less pithy than expected. Its carbonation is evident enough with its strength fairly well hidden within its fruit.

330ml can from Aldi. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, big overpowering orange citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a crisp, juicy orange citrus, mineral, light hop bitter sweet palate. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation.
