Cask at the Queen Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. An amber pour with a dense cream head; light tropical fruit aroma; bready body with a light bitterness; and okay light ale, but perhaps too cold to appreciate fully.

Cask at Penderel’s Oak, JDW - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Nice citrusy hops in the nose, biscuits, lemon rind, straw. Light sweet flavor with pleasant biscuity pale malts, a little citrus, lemon and tangerine, mild bitter hay, straw, par grains. Light bodiednwith fine carbonation; good condition. Pretty well balanced to finish, with more pale citrus, biscuits, hay, lemon. A great little golden ale. Very drinkable.
