1 March 2025. At Winter Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks to hosting, Tim & Marina, and cheers to the whole crew!

Lot 1232. Raisin, fig, brambleberry, carré confiture. Sweetish fig & raisin, sourish berries, some artisan milk chocolate. Herbal hops, bit toasty, dried fruits. Very solid 'compromise' between Dubbel and Belgian Dark.

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Pours a clear dark brown with voluminous tan head. Deep grainy brown malt aroma. Lovely malty brown bread character, some rye with a wholesome grainy sweetness.. Great to try the non BA version. really nice.

Bottle shared at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Dark brown color, red hue, full sized beige head. Aroma is malts, brown malts, earthy, light dusty notes. Flavor is malts, a bit sweeter up front than I had expected, but a malt bitter finish. Solid. 8-7-7-7-7

1/III/25 - 75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (2025 Winter/Spring edition), BB: II/2025, lot n°1232 (2025-157) Thanks to Sebletitje for sharing the bottle!

Clear red brown beer, small creamy white head, unstable, falls down quickly, slightly adhesive. Aroma: good roast, some chocolate notes, a little smoky, caramel, a bit yeasty, MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good roast, a little bitter, chemical touch, malty, caramel. Aftertaste: some dried fruits, bitter, good roast, caramel, a little sweet, more malty, grains, decent!

Nice coffee. Lingering bitterness. Not bad. A tad watery. Charcoal. Ash. Interesting
