Bottle thanks to WMW at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. It pours clear rich amber with a small white head. The aroma is rich, grainy, cereal, honey, toasted nut, wood and brown bread. The taste is bitter, brown bread, wood, varnish, warming alcohol boost, fruit cake, light cardboard and some spice. Medium+ body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not bad for what it is.

Keg at the Exmouth Arms - London. Pours clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Lots of ripe fruits in the nose, some toffee, toasted wood, coconut. Medium sweet flavor, pretty dry, with bready malts, light caramel, earth, leathery berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet and lightly warming on the finish, with lots of bready malts, woody dryness, some bitter earth, dates, candied orange peel. Pretty tasty.

Bottled. An amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spicey hops, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.
