Bright clear deep red - amber beer, good cream colour head. Good looking brew. Nose of tequila, sherry and spritzy fruits. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. The malts are light but bring a little cream. Trace of molasses. Bitterish wood leads to mild apple. Nice touch of fruity tequila. Crystallised fruits. Mellow bourbon - brandy. A little more malt cream. Sorachi lemon buried underneath. A mild to medium hop bitterness. Semi dry finish. Fruity spritzy bitter linger, Very nicely done, much going on here and it’s very drinkable. Just lacks that one sprinkle of fairly dust to put it in the highest echelons but it’s a finely crafted beer.

Thanks Matt. Reminds me of how good Camden was when they had Rob in their first six months. Great subtle Bordeaux notes from ba. SX Share
