500ml bottle from the Co-op, Amble. Pours clear copper, short-lived white head. Aromas of butterscotch, vanilla, raisins. Like Old Speckled Hen crossed with Innis & Gunn. Taste is sweet, faint hints of oak if you search for it. Mostly demerara sugar. Cloying.

Skunky aroma with underlying hops and decent caramel body. Medium lively body with hops and caramel but soured skunk from the damn clear glass. Decent body and a decent beer by I suspect would be surprisingly nice fresh-shame. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bottle that is almost a year out of date. Dark copper with a small light-brown head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, alcohol. Flavour is the same followed by a bitter aftertaste. This is a good beer.
