Bottle from Aldi, Wycombe. Hazy yellow-orange colour with a lasting white head. Nice whiff of banana and fresh baked bread. Overly and unnecessarily fizzy and a tad watery. Cakey taste with some banana, orange juice, black pepper, cloves and cinnamon. A light bitterness at the end balances the sweet banana cake aftertaste well. It's true to style, and for a budget supermarket brew this is actually pretty good!

Bottle from Aldi. Pours a hazy orange with a medium sized thick creamy white head. Aromas of bananas, pears and cloves. Taste is the same with peppery spice notes on the finish. Thin to medium body with fair carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Not the best Hefe i have tried but still fairly decent and refreshing.

Tight foamy white head stayed on murky amber body. Fruity, spice & cereal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & lively on the thinning back. Biscuit, fruity, spiced & banana tastes with a peppery finish. Standard but good decent for Supermarket own-brand.

500ml bottle. Gold, initially a two finger off-white head, ok retention. Aroma is banana, cloves and hay. Taste is semi-sweet, fruity banana, mild spice, biscuit. Its quite nice although it could do with a bit more flavour and depth of body. Good for £1.25.

Bottle at home – from Aldi Nice aroma of banana and bubblegum. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a vigorous, but transient off-white head. Bananas again in the taste, with spices like cloves and nutmeg. Nice, but carbonation is low and a bit weak and watery. Surprisingly a hoppy, bitter finish. Not at all bad for an “own brand”

10/5/2019. Bottle from Aldi, Martlesham Heath. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of banana, foam banana sweets, caramel, wheat, malt, sage and coriander. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet herbal finish. Ok.

Bottle at home, 14/04/19. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is wheaten bread, clove, banana, light spice. Taste comprises banana chews, bready malts, clove, straw, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok hefe.
