You’ve heard of barley wine, well we are calling this a Wheat Wine, what we believe was the first of its kind in the UK.
We took our popular Henley Gold recipe to the extreme by bumping up the wheat.
To try and cut the heaviness from that much wheat we added our weight in local honey and fermented with our Henley Gold yeast strain and then patiently cold conditioned for 6 months prior to bottling.

WSF 2009, thanks to Phil. Golden with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, bread crust, phenols, and banana and bubblegum esters. Sweet banana, malt and honey flavour. A touch of alcohol. It’s wheat, it’s strong and it’s English! How unique!

Bottle, at WSF09 - thanks to Phil for sharing
Clear, blond body. Nice aroma of hops, vanilla and honey. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour with some vanilla. Well balanced good flavour.
