A collaborative Double IPA brew with our friends from over t’hills, Cloudwater Brew Co. Golden Promise, Wheat, Oat and Crystal Malt were used for a smooth, golden, malty body. A combination of Magnum, Citra, Simcoe, Eureka and Mosaic T90 hops were used in the whirlpool and dry hopping, with additional Citra – ‘Cryo Hops™ Lupulin Powder’ added in the dry hop. Fermented with US ‘Double IPA’ yeast, the result is a massively fruit-filled DIPA with loads of Mango and Peach aroma/flavour and gravity-defying drinkability. Strap yourself in!

Can. Little Leeds Beer House. Cloudy, dark orange. A few floaters. Scummy white head. Nose has baked orange. Passion fruit. Ripe mango. Hint of spearmint. Fresh juicage. Taste is a little spicy, jammy sweet, with a juicy, oily bitterness. Drinks super easy for the ABV. Juicy, lightly zesty bitter finish. Like a homegrown Heady.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; hazy orange light pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has pretty abundant tropical fruit action consisting of mango, pineapple and some papaya, also has some citrusy grapefruit and tangerine, taste has smooth sweet malts, slight bitter grapefruit, juicy mango, pineapple, ABV isn’t present, very similar to some of the Cloudwater DIPA series.

Can. Nose is citrus lime grapefruit hint of lemon, tangerine. Taste is citrus, huge mango, lemon, lime, marmalade, mango, leading to a bitter grapefruit pith hop bite. Nice malt body and some soft fruit and peachy notes and yeast. I really liked this and excelled as it warmed and opened up. I prefer dipa with a good bitterness from the hop, so particularly to my taste.
