Light and tropical golden ale, for a twist on our classic we have dry hopped this batch of Hophead with lashing of American Mosaic® hops. This brings Passionfruit and berry aromas which balance beautifully with the Elderflower hit from the Cascade hops.

Clear golden color with a white layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Nice body for a 3.8% beer. Soft carbonation level. Felt quite fresh and fine to drink. Good condition. Citric, mild pine, fruity and malty flavor. Nice session ale!

Cask (Guide Dog, Southampton) - Golden with a white head. Grapefruit, grain and blueberries in the aroma. Hoppy taste with grapefruit, blueberries and citrus. Seems thinner than the regular hophead but it’s still tasty and enjoyable.

16th February 2017
Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Almost clear yellow gold beer, a few white bubbles for a head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Little tangerine, good grapefruit. Light floral bitterness and orange peel. Light dry finish. Decent hop but not caught the essence of Mosaic at all for me.

Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester 10/2/2017. Deep gold with a slight haze and decently-sized white head. Aroma of grassy hops, pineapple and grapefruit. Flavour had some sweetish, creamy malts, more tropical fruit and a massively hoppy, dryish finish. Enjoyable.
