Barwa brunatna, piana biała, niezbyt obfita, ale całkiem trwała. Aromat palonych słodów, kawy, dość przyjemny, ale trochę płytki. Smak słodowy, lekko karmelowy, palony. Niestety treściwość pozostawia bardzo wiele do życzenia, goryczka maksymalnie średnia, wysycenie też odrobinę za niskie. Ma jakiś potencjał, ale jest bardzo wodniste, przez co wypada przeciętnie.

Bottle from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Butterscotch, raisin and toffee aroma. Flavours of raisin, sweet malt and some licorice notes. Not bad.

Pours a light brown color, topped with a relatively small white head. Mild roasty aroma with some notes of caramel and grains. Taste has some sweetness upfront, roasted with very minimal bitterness and a touch of a soury feel in the end. Drinkable, light.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear dark brown color with small creamy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel, licorice and a bit of smoke. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and roasted malt, follows by grainy sourness, a bit plain mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Pretty average schwarzbier...

0,5L bottle, BB 28.01.15. Pours black with light tan head. The head stays. Aroma is intense malt, dark bread and roast. Flavor follows the nose. Finish is dark bread and roast bitter. Body is rather watery. Overall: nice dark lager.

From the archive, bottle bought in Luxembourg. Malziger, leicht röstiger Geruch. Das Bier beginnt malzig-trocken, etwas wässrig. Die malzige Note wird im Hauptteil deutlicher, dabei frisch-süffig (besonders durch den dünnen Körper), kaum süß, aber angenehm schwarzbierig-röstig. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, recht sehr wässrig, aber trotzdem nicht zu aromen-arm.
