Dank is brewed with some of the most pungent U.S hops the west coast has. Expect ripe tropical fruits & heady aromas of skunk, cat piss and sweat (in a good way).

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - cloudy golden orange. Neat head. Nose - elusive at first. Then gentle orange and possibly something tropical. Taste - orange and apricot. Possibly some papaya. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - not that dank. More fruity. Good though. Great balance between fruit and bitterness.

Cask at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Hazy amber pour with a white head. Aromas of marmalade, pineapple, mango, sweet citrus. Flavours of orange Chewits, marmalade, pineapple. Lots of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Nice.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours unclear gold with a frothy, pure white head. Has a good bit of piney bitterness, some ripening oranges, bitter rind as well, supportive pale malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with more piney and rindy bitterness. Actually not that dank. Good overall.

Hop Locker 3. Keg. Hazy orange - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, thin creamy sweetness. Dry and pretty bitter tangerine and mandarin. Mild mango. Strong bitter hop spice. Mellow orange and a touch of tropical fruits. The aggressive bitterness dies back a bit as the beer warms up but it is still plenty bitter and spicy on the finish. Robust!

Keg at HL3. It pours hazy - cloudy golden with a small white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, very sticky, juicy, oily, resin, weed, dankness, bread, earth and herbs. The taste is dry, bitter, very oily, slick, dank, weed, green, spice, herb, bong rips, minerals, lick of booze, over ripe fruit with a drying and green finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit too savoury perhaps, but enjoyable enough.
