Bourbon barrel aged American strong ale finished on coffee beans and coconut. This strong ale is malt-rich with a syrupy caramel base that melts into the silky coconut feature. An exclusive blend of hand roasted coldbot coffee beans balances the dessert beer with warm, roasty, bitterness. Liquid macaroon!

Poured from 500mL bottle (2024 vintage). Dark brown with small beige head. Subtle coconut and coffee notes with underlying cacao nibs, some dark fruit and a feint hint of bourbon. Lots of flavours going on, but they don't all mesh together.

Darkish brown colour, with a thin head. The aroma has a lot of fruitiness, some rough bourbon, and a bit of vanilla. There's a fair bit of vegetal coffee on there as well. It's a little bit fizzy, then falls back into a raisiny and sweet barley wine character, again the bourbon is quite rough. While the coffee was strong on the nose, it takes a back seat on the palate. There's more than enough positive elements, but I feel like with Bottle Logic I shouldn't be looking for silver linings.

MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: a bit sweet, caramel, lots of alcohol, coconut, oxidized, leathery, vanilla, bourbon, lovely! Aftertaste: caramel, sugary, alcohol, bourbon, vanilla, oxidized, some tobacco, sugary, coconut, coffee notes, a hint of soy sauce, lovely beer!

Caramel, coconut and a hint of leather. Dark brown pour without much head. Bourbon is light, well done and just a hint to add some character. Orange peel. Sweet finish. Thick consistency, big body. Tap at Churchkey.

Bottle shared at CBJ - many thanks to WW. Cheers! Pours clear, reddish brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour, sugary, with notes of dried berries, a little toffee, booze. Full bodied with fine carbonation, lightly chewy. Warming and sticky to finish. Not bad, a bit heavy-handed overall.

CBJ Tasting. Bottle thanks to Wingman. A mild haze on this amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, quite light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, coffee and coconut obvious and combining with the barrelling to make quite the honey estery sweetness. Finishes little and estery fruity. A little left field. Banana burps.
