Die kaltgehopfte Erfrischung schimmert strohgelb im Glas. Feinherb mit einer ausgeprägten Hopfennote im Geschmack, dabei spritzig im Antrunk. Angenehm
schlank und vollmundig. Kurzum – ein Pils, wie es sein soll. Erhältlich in der 0,33l und 0,5l Flasche.

Can 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malty with a metallic whiff. Medium body, sweet malts and flowery hops with a distinct metallic touch. The hops in the finish are rather subdued. But quite enjoyable. 230310

500ml bottle at Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Clear gold, very light yeast on aroma., but also some lemon. OK in mouth, still some lemon scented yeast on finish. Difficult to adjust from ales on sparkler to a hardish carbonated lager. Finish grows on me. Herby scented lemons on aroma. Above average lager. Basically it got better as I drank it. Really good lmeon and some decent hop bite. Little bit of emptiness there. Still, the finish is excellent. Would I drink it again? Yes for the finish. Bet it’s good on draught in Bamberg.

Can @ Odense Tasting, Feb 2010. Tasted this up with another German discount, Konig pils, and this fell short. Pours clear golden with a small egg white head. Grain and some harsh corn. Very dry , watery and astringent. Cheap, watery palate.

Bottle. Clear straw color with a medium white head. Aroma of hay, malt, nice grassy hops and a light citric hint. Flavor starts off sweet with some chewy bready malt (with light grainy notes) and continues with pleasant lingering bitterness. Medium-bodied. A nice crisp Pilsener.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear pale yellow, firm creamy head. Distinct grassy hop aroma. Very dry with soft, rounded buttery mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied with lasting very bitter finish. Fresh on tap like this it’s a hardcore spot on German style pilsener.
