Can. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops with a subtle citric touch. Bitter, hoppy flavour with a note of yeast and an eerie citrus (perfume?) hint. Rather watery mouthfeel. Not bad as such, just boring.

Can from Irma, Copenhagen - A pale yellow pour with a medium white head. Slight flowery hops with sweet malts in both aroma and taste. Easy drinking. Ok

500ml bottle. Fitlered pale yellow-tan body, Fluffy white head. Steady rising carbonation bubbles within. Classic Pils aroma, some grainy malt and spicy, earthy hops. Clean medium to light bodied Pils, with some nice creamy, doughy malt notes. Smooth Lager tones, very refined and mellow. The hops are mild but present. Respectable offering.

33 cl can, 4.3%. Pale pale pale yellow, white head. Weak pilsener, almost lagerish, not much to say. Strawy with some flowery notes, some hops in the finish. Weak and watery.

Euro Market, Queens 50cl ($2.25): Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, with a healthy dose of German hops. Beer is slightly bitter and a wee bit sweet. Has a weird off-taste in it, but it ain’t too bad (rancid seltzer if that makes sense).

Very light colored clear yellah. Nice lager presentation. Smell of sterile metal with a slight background of noble hops. Quite good sharpness for its style. Nice low alky impact allows you to enjoy the beer for what it is. Yes, some biting pils flavor yet is not really over the top. Over all pretty good beer experience, friendly and well behaved. Decently crisp co2 palate on the finsih.

Pour is a clear golden with a average white head. Aroma is burning and dry pils malt. Flavor is grass and dry pils malt. The flavor is decent but nothing great. This is a beer that is probably better in Germany.

June 2010: Brown 500ml bottle obtained from ’Beers of Europe’, poured three times into one of my Veltins stemmed tulip glasses (0.2 litre). Regular clean, clear looking Pilsner, light golden in colour with a fast reducing snow white head. Plenty of life in all three pours, carbonisation clearly to be seen rising through the body. Typical Pilsner non-smell, some weak cereal and grass hints, but gets my normal 3 for a lager/pilsner non-aroma. This is just a bog standard Pilsner, nothing bad about it, nor anything outstanding. Refreshing, crisp and clean tasting, no real flavours to get excited about. Just about mid-range in everything, wouldn’t want to drink it all night, but two or three would cool you down nicely.
