Troy Guard is a Denver chef with a Mexican restaurant so badass we can’t even put the name on this can. While enjoying his food we had a crazy idea: brew a Mexican-style lager with corn, natural lime juice and just a hint of salt. We recommend it with the Rattlesnake Chorizo Guac- Yep, that’s real. Salud amigos!

Tin. My first thought was better than Corona with lime, because the original beer was better, and it is. Lime aroma. Light bitterness with lime. Lager finish.

Can: Grass and dandelion nose. Hazy golden, medium head. Tangy lime, dandelion. Light body, easy carbonation. Fail as a lager, but a pretty enjoyable fruit beer.

12 oz single purchased at Missie’s Discount Liquors in Shawnee, Kansas. The pour is a hazed golden white yellow with a thin white head that falls quick. The aroma is lime tart, lime fruit, sea salt, and clean pilsner malts. The taste is simple and clean with the sea salt and lime prevalent on top of a fresh clean lager. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation with a clean, dry softly salty finish. Easy drinking beer, fun.

At a tasting, many thanks, small stable bubbly head, hazy palish yellow color, lemony fruity hoppy aroma, flavor of muscat grapes and fruits, empathic lemon sourness. A nice suprise, highly refreshing.

Tap at the brewery in Denver. Slightly hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma has some lime and salt. Lightly tart. Dry. Quite a bit of lime. Refreshing and easy to drink. I like it.

Keg at the Denver taproom. Pours unclear yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose has crispy cereal, dough, hints of citrus. Light sweet flavour with a bit of salty bite, oily lime peel, hay, cereal. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, some lemony tang, zesty lime, more pale bread. OK overall.
