500 MMl bottle tasted on the 27/08/2016. Amber to orange colour with no head. Aroma of wood, apples and malts. Taste is intense wood and whisky with some malts and caramel. Next one please!

Bottle at home, amber orange beer, small head. Aroma is malt, honey, caramel, Taste is the same, sweet. quite some warmth of the alcohol... ok beer

Butelka 0.5l (10.05.2018). Piwo klarowne o bursztynowej barwie, biało-szarej pianie, obfitej i błyskawicznie znikającej do zera bez jakiegokolwiek efektu lacingu. Aromat słodki, słodowy z subtelna nutka torfową, niezbyt intensywną ale wyraźną, trochę mdły i nawet przez ktrótką chwilę po nalaniu pojawiły się nuty kwasu izowalerianowego, czyli wskazujące na stary chmiel. W smaku słodkie, słodowe ale takie z nutami chlebowymi, może ciut karmelu i delikatna nutka torfowa, która jakoś nie układa się z wyraźnym słodkim i musującym charakterem piwa. Co prawda alkohol jest dobrze ukryty i tylko rozgrzewa od środka, niemniej piwo jest zbyt wysoko wysycone co powoduje minimalne musowanie a to nie poprawia jego odczucia w ustach. Całkiem fajne jest ciało, jeżeli wykluczymy nagazowanie i lekkość piwa a ma przecież 9 woltów, nawet ta słodycz, która na początku wydaje się przytłaczająca po kilku łykach jest delikatniejsza, taka z subtelnie wytrawnym finiszem. Ogólnie przeciętny przedstawiciel swojego stylu nie wzbudzający większych zachwytów.

Bottle. Amber color with hardly any head. Aroma is old socks, firestone, wood, and these blanks (Platzpatrone) with which I used to play as a kid. Taste is sweetish, woody, roasted, sugary. Very weird and not exactly great.

Bottle. Light minerally nose. Hazy orange, no head. Mildly honeyish head. Honeyish sweet malt base, some whiskey smoke, wood, a hint berries, light herbal finish. Medium full body. Spicy honey finish, sticky, grainy malt a hint smoke retronasal.

Flasche 0,5l: Bernstein, klar, etwas mittelporiger Schaum; in der Nase kräftig würzig, deutliche Holznoten, rauchig, sehr würzige Süße, Malz, Röstaromen, frisches Fassholz; im Körper sehr kräftige Süße, kräftiger Malzzucker, cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure, alkoholisch, süßer Fruchtlikör, dann holzige Würze, leichte Rauchnoten; angenehmer malzig-süßer Nachgang mit leichter süßer Rauchigkeit

Bottle(as Störtebeker Scotch Ale): Deep golden, hazy, small and quickly collapsing loose off-white head; distinctive nose of wheat, peat and woodfire, sweet malt and caramel and dried fruits in the second row; moderate to solid sweet flavour, subdued bitterness, full bodied and sticky; sweet peaty finish. (bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Present smoked/peated malty aroma with notes of caramel, wet wood, iodine and leather. Sweet and delicately bitter flavour, full bodied with a calm carbonation. Smoky malty aroma with peaty notes, caramel, slightly sugary accents; sweet and delicately bitter finish, slightly sticky and alcoholic with still present smoky notes. Interesting, but not a beer I would seek out for. 08.I.16
