50 cl bottle. Golden color, short white head quickly disappearing. Wet grains, canny malts, starch, some syrup, no hops. Taste sweetish with a light bitterness in the finish. Oily texture, sticky finish. Has a bigger body than Korean average, but seems a cheap euro pils.

Flasche (640 cl) aus einem Supermarkt in Gwangju. - Goldgelb, blank. - Sehr schwache Nase: nur ein Hauch von süßlichem Malz und eine Andeutung von Herbe. - Antrunk mild hellmalzig mit angenehmer zart säuerlicher Note. Der milde Malzcharakter überwiegt bis zuletzt; der Hopfen ist nur angedeutet, mit schwach fruchtiger Orange und einem Hauch von Kräutertee. Mild rezent. - Im direkten Vergleich zu Hite ("All new") zeigt sich schonungslos die sterile, plastikartige Künstlichkeit des letzteren. Das OB dagegen ist durchaus trinkbar, verdient aber wegen viel zu schwacher Hopfung nicht die Bezeichnung „Pilsner“. Trotzdem deutlich besser als die allermeisten Supermarktbiere Südkoreas.

Clear golden colour with quick fading head. Flavour has some sweet malt, cardboard and seems a bit stale.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours clear deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of spicy hops, cereals, metallic notes. Taste of mild hops, grains, watery palate, not good!

Many thanks to Vincent for this can! Grainy smooth beginning. Not too deep, neutral grainy hints, fresh and easy to drink. The body is weak, lots of water, hints of grain there. The bitterness is very low, no hints of a "Pils" here. Sad.

The premium OB 5.2% 1500won Drunk from the can a deep yellow piss gold with a strong grolsch type stinky nose. Decent body with some sweet maltiness and a fairly smooth finish. It tastes better than it smells though it is a bit too honeyed sweet. Good for the price. As it warms up it goes downhill a bit but is a surprisingly tolerable Korean macro pils.
