Keg halfpint at the Chandos, London. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of grassy and herbal hops, some pilsener malts too. \"Clean\" pilsener flavour with a decent balance between the malts and hops. Very good for a 4% lager.

Keg at the Angel, Holborn. Vague grainy yeasty aroma. Dull gold. Bubbly. Thin creamy white head. À hint of light bitterness. Sour edge. Initially quite grainy/malty tasting but this does out. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Flat carbonation. Dry, slightly astringent finishl. It's Ok.

Draft at the Crown, New Oxford Street. Pours bright golden with a small lasting white head. Aroma of malt, hop, grass, banana and citrus. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. As pale lagers go, this was an enjoyable one.
