Brewed as a collaboration with our graphic designer (award winning homebrewer Josh Smith). This recipe was winner of London & South East best in show. A beautifully simple malt bill provided a wort that was soured overnight, boiled and salted before being sent to the fermenter to condition on a load of pineapple puree. Big pineapple aromas and light tartness are gradually washed away by the subtle salinity of this refreshing Gose.

440ml can @ Chez Sophie. pours unclear pale gold. Sour, salty, pineapple, funk on the nose. Taste is sour, funky, salty, moderate pineapple though not massively prominent or fruity, some limey zest, light herbal notes. Bit sticky on the palate. Decent enough.

Draught at BXL Beer Fest, Brussels.
Orange, hazy body, with a tiny, yellow head.
Aroma of straw, lemongrass, tropical fruits, slight honey.
Tastes similar, with more salt.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes salty, citric, medium sour, fruity.

Very nice. Fresh and easy to drink, with a nice combination of the fruits and the typical Gose notes. Lovely, refreshing style example.

Can on the train home, the mighty 12, 13/07/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is bottom of the tin pineapple chunks, light pissy citric shreds, hay bale, faint tropicana, light green berry jism. Taste comprises tangy pineapple jus, light salt licks, seaweed, grassy, straw, green berry tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced puckering climax. Decent enough gose.

Keg at We Brought Beer, Clapham Junction.24/11/17. There is some pineapple but it's really a cider-esque aroma for me. Opaque golden yellow. Thin but creamy white head. Medium sour. Salty into finish. Restrained pineapple.Medium bodied. Slick. Light fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Pleasant. Refreshing. No sour overkill.
