Sample from 2014 bottle during Blarney Wine Festival 2019 on 03/16/2019. Clear brownish-amber color with a thin light beige head that recedes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spots of lacing. Aroma of bourbon, fruit, oak and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, fruit and roast malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

BART2013, bomber. Pours clear mahogany, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is rich, toffee, mocha, cocoa, some whiskey. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, rich and a bit boozy, lots of dark sugars and oaky vanilla flavors. Full body, creamy. Pretty good.

Black with dark off white head - Dark malt with fruity tones, wood and some bourboun in the aroma - Dark malt that has hints of dark fruity flavours with wood, bourboun and vanilla flavours as well - The dark malt, wood and vanliia with bourbon goes into the finish - This was real good

KRS 110317. THX to Bergstaden. Dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is wood, alcohol, roasted malt, caramel. Flavor is wood, alcohol, roasted malt, caramel, bourbon, dried fruits, dark chocolate. Full body. Very nice beer.

Bottle, 22oz, shared by bergstaden. Close to black in the glass, very very dark brown, clear-looking, and with a dense dark beige head. The aroma is quite heavy, yet mellow, with roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, some prunes and bourbon, vanilla and a spiced hint. It’s full-bodied and warming, smooth and sweet, with a good bitterness to deal with the sugars. Roasted malts. coffee, chocolate, bourbon, wood and vanilla, some faint cardamom hints and an earthy hint. Lasting finish. A really delicious beer indeed, smooth, mellow and tasteful. 170311

[Courtesy of bergstaden] Pours dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, bourbon, dried fruits, coconut, oak and vanilla. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, coconut, oak, vanilla, bourbon and dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle shared at deanso’s. Dark brown with a tan head. Notes of milk chocolate, bourbon, honey, milk coffee, dark cherries, bitter hops in the aftertaste. Medium to full body, light carbonation.

Wednesday tasting at deanso’s. Courtesy of mariuspoenari. Black with sticky tan head. Sweet roasted barley malts, chocolate, toffee, bourbon. Big sweet and roasted bitterness. Big body, low carbonation. Nice dense aroma’s and smooth feel. Quite an alcoholic kick. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared thanks to mariuspoenari. Mahogany with beige head. Lots of bourbon, some flowery honey, quite some herbs, light chocolate, vanilla, soft red berries, sweet malts, some booze in the finish. Quite sweet but with a lingering bitter finish. Almost full bodied. Nice stuff.
