Aroma of slightly roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, liquorice. Flavour is malty and roasty, liquorice, mild sweetness. A bit too light on the palate to be a true winner, but a nice Stout nonetheless.

Aus der Flasche im 2020-07 getrunken. Im Vergleich zu ihren leckeren Imperial Stout ist das Stout von Midtfyns eher nur solide Kost. Also ein klassisches, gut trinkbares Stout doch ohne waa Besonderes. Daher Skål!

Bottle, best until 4/08. Almost black and opague. Roast, salt and lciorice in the aroma. Malty sweetish, salty flavor with hints of toffee, roast and ash. Pleasant well matured brew.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and coffee aroma. Roasted malty coffee and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and coffee finish.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chalky chocolate malt with light mineral notes, light peated notes, light molasses, OK. In mouth, sweet chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light vanilla, silky mouth feel, a tad light bodied. Bottle bb 22/05/14.

Wednesday tasting at deanso’s. Bottle courtesy of Maakun. Black with tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts, barley, quite dry. Chocolate, toffee, coffee. Medium sweet and moderate bitter. Bottle shared. Black with bubbly tan head. Licorice, quite some coffee, light cocoa, roasted malts, some toffee. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit of a dry feel.
