30cl bottle from the Jumbo supermarket in Valkenburg. Poured into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass at home on 7th December 2025. Copper bronze body, off white crust. Very sweet with a winter spice aroma/taste, cinnamon being a major player, too sweet for it's own good.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Aroma is sweet malt, spices, plenty of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, speculaas, vanilla, caramel, sugar. Flavour is sticky sweet and lightly bitter. Body is medium. Not a complete disaster, but way too spicy and sticky sweet for my taste.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear brown colored brew with an sweety holidayspirit December taste, hints of cinnamon and lots of it. I don’t get the ginger, clove and honey at all. Now i get the taste, they must have changed of.

Brown with a frothy head. Has a sugary, Christmas spice aroma that’s not altogether natural. Taste is sweet with lingering cinnamon. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Not my thing.

Ik dacht, ik koop een lekker bokbieren bij de Vomar. Maar dat is schrikken, blijkt vloeibare appeltaart. Geur en smaak hebben niets met bokbier te maken, afschuwelijk.

Better than a lot of other Xmas beers. Not too sweet. Very interesting spice notes, especially nutmeg.

30cl bottle from AH Jodenbreestraat supermarket in Amsterdam. F: medium, tan, average retention. C: coppery to brown, clear. A: malty, a lot of spicy, cinnamon, gingerbread, mellow fruity. T: medium to full malty base, gingerbread, cinnamon, fruity, bit roasted tones, soft to medium carbonation, bit too spicy yet ok, drinkable.
