17/6/2020. Can from Hoppily, Leigh-on-Sea. Pours dark ruby brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of dark fruits, light roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and nut. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a developing tartness. Moderate body, but became a bit watery. Interesting how this one changed.

The taste is dry and toothy, bitter roasted malt, liquorice, umami, some coffee grounds, nutty vibes and a touch of dried fruit with a drying and toasty finish. Lighter end of medium body and moderate carbonation. All comes together pretty well. A decent dark mild.
