(can) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Sweet grainy malty nose with a flowery, slightly herbal hoppy note. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft on carbon. Slightly grainy and biscuity taste with a doughy and slightly flowery hoppy touch. Sweet, malt-accented and slightly hop bitter finish. Quite balanced brew (10.III.09).

Bottle. From LIC. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Week but delicate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate malty and bitter flavor. Nice malty moderate finish. Watery palate.

33 cL bottle. Pours pale yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is classic pale lager like yet with a light hoppy presence. Flavour starts also quite classic pale lager like but releases some nice citrusy hops notes into a mild bitter and quite tasty finish. Nice and easy, slightly more hoppy than the average pale lager/pilsener

11.2 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Pours a clear golden with lots of carbonation and a quickly dissipating 2.5 finger head. Lots of grassy hops in the nose with slight grainy notes. Taste is grainy with fruity notes and a decent amount of grassy hops. Medium bodied.

Bottel from Billa, Vienna. Pale gold with a big, yet short-lived white head. Aroma of sweet malts and grassy hops. Flavour was much the same with a light, bitter finish. A decent pils.

From the bottle in Vienna, 2006. Deep, darkish, somewhat cloudy yellow color, with a large head. Hoppy, slightly fruity aroma with a bit of malt backup. Very dry, hoppy, bitter flavor. Slight malt with a touch or sweetness, overbalanced towards hops, albeit in a pleasant way. Slightly fruity, but mostly dry, a bit of grassiness. Dry, hoppy, bitter finish. A good, hoppy beer, somewhat biting. Could use a touch more malt complexity, in my opinion.

bottle. Clear pale yellow, large and creamy head. Intensive hoppy nose. Crisp, fresh and pleasantly hoppy (grassy) with a malty background. There is a very very shy fruity sourness present.

Big shiny coarseish offwhite lasting head. Yellow body with carbonation. Grassy, peppery hop aroma with notes of straw and rye. Dry grassy, peppery taste with a light, subtle sweetness. Straw and rye aftertaste with perhaps a little acidity. Clean and harmonic. Traces of sulphur. Nice, but given the name they could use more hops. (0.2l draft at dahoam im bruderhof, Salzburg.)

330ml can from a Billa Supermarket in Wien. Straw coloured body topped by a white foamy head. Hay and grass to the nose. Some candy sweetness in the taste with fruity hops in a rather short tail. Moderate mouthfeel (04.12.2007).
