Based on the raspberry dessert this kettle soured beer balances itself with a creamy sweetness from the lactose & oats. Fermented with heaps of raspberries as the star of the show keeping it tart, refreshing & effervescent.

8/8/2026. Draft at the Ampersand Brewery Tap, Diss. Nice pour. Good raspberry aroma and taste. Pavlova. Great raspberry tartness. Quite carbonated. A bit watery. But enjoyable.

Can from Beers of Europe. Appearance - beautiful lava like in appearance. Slightly off white head. Nose - initially some tart thing but then you realise it's all raspberry rather than yeast. Taste - creamy rather than sour raspberry. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy and not sour. Overall - good though not too sour.

Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear red-tinged gold with a thick white head. Aromas of raspberry jam, little else. Taste has a sharp raspberry kick up front, then some creamy sweetness. Good body. Raspberry linger.

Keg at MS HW, 07/03/20. Pinky orange with a crimson cap. Nose is mellow berry yoghurt, damp straw, berry pips, grass. Taste comprises light tangy raspberries, hay bale, lemon drizzle, tarte berry compote, airy malts, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a very modest puckering kiss. Ok mellow berry refresher but rather simplistic and lacking much in the way of a sour profile.
