Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black. Roastg, vanilla, a bit of bourbon, some oxidation, a bit spicy and floral, some honey, sweet, sourish note, full-bodied, some alcohol.

Black-brownish color and a a tan-yellowish head. Boozy, alcoholic, sweet honey, vanilla, dried fruits heavy long lasting finish

Bottle at Maakuns. Dark and little head. Sweet deep roasted dark malts. Sweet bourbon, honey, chipolatapudding. Bit sweet and weird griesmeel sickly, dark roasty, with a sour edge.

Bottle shared. Very dark brown with light brown head. Honey, roasted malts, caramel, red berries, soft bourbon, creamy grains, tobacco, apple. Quite sweet, light sour and bitter. Full bodied. Decent, but a bit weirdly sour.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of rich honey, bourbon, ripe red fruit, cherry, vanilla, caramel fudge, chocolate, figs and molasses. Taste has sweet smooth honey, caramel fudge, bourbon booze, rich vanilla, ripe cherry, figs, dates, chocolate, molasses and a long boozy complex finish. The honey comes out really well, but not in a artificial sweet way like usual, it's like actual creamy honey, which works splendidly with the bourbon. Fantastic, another Molen triumph.

Bottle shared at tasting. Opaque black color, small beige head. Aroma is malts, barrel aging going on. Flavor is malts, barrel aging without a clear description, sourness. Bit thin texture as well. Hmm nah. Don't like it.

Zwart bier met mooie bruine schuimkraag die helaas snel inzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet en kruidig met iets van rook, gebrand graan en een fijne zachte bourbon smaak vermengt met wat honing. Erg goed bier.
