Finally finished the Advent Calendar! Pours dark amber with a beige head. Aroma is a caramel, dark fruit, but without real good integrity. Metallic but not the worst from Egerer. Sweet, fruity and some cheap lager. Not the worst from these guys.

500 ml can from the Kalea Advent calendar, Day 24. Aroma is caramel, plum, grassy, tea. Pours clear amber with an off white head with decent retention. Taste is sweet and grassy, finishing dry. A nice doppelbock.

Can from Jeremy. Clear brown, see-through, scant head. A bit sweet, too sweet in fact.Brown sugar, in overdose. Tried to hit the style, but is a bit too saccharine.

Can from the Kalea German beer advent calendar. Clear ruby brown colour lasting tan head. Some fruity malty aroma. A little sweetish alchohol in the mouth. Some dark cherry flavour dark plum. Not much hop. I like the malt and the dark fruits. I like the warmth of the alcohol too. Pretty decent I thought.

500ml can. (7.5% ABV) Pours a clear copper with a medium, foamy, short lived, beige head that laces. Mild but sweet aroma of caramel malt, dried fruit, molasses and bread. Sweet flavour of toasted malt, caramel, dark fruit, bread and brown sugar with light alcohol in a slightly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

Can from an Egerer Advent pack from the Woodland Costco. Pours clear dark copper with a large foamy beige head. Warm caramel aroma with a hint of grass. Med body. Flavor is caramel with some grassy hop. Not too undry, and just a little bitter. Nice to drink.
