The d-IPL-omatic mission of this beer is to build a bridge between two different brewing traditions. The yeasts for bottom fermentation, which we commonly use for our traditional Czech lager, shake hands here with representatives of modern American aromatic hops, Mosaic and Simcoe, which we used in both whirlpool and dry-hopping. Diplomacy is a dry, light lager with a full malt body, refreshing bitterness and a fresh hop aroma of citrus and tropical fruits not covered by top yeast esters.

Ta at BGB. Hazy golden body, white head. Pungent flowery-herbal aroma. Lean taste, citric-herbal, vague flowery touches, lightly bitterish, vaguely earthy. Like the silky mouthfeel going into the not overstated bitterish finish. Good stuff.

Tap at Beergeek. Quite clean, hops centered. Rather thin body, mosaic cleanly coming through, light exotics. Easy drinking, refreshing, very good.

This is my second beer of the flight at BeerGeek Bar, Prague, 20.07.20. The colour is very pale and cleaer straw colour. The head and lacing are white, dense and persistent. There is an inviting aroma and taste of lemon, lime, succade and sweet pilsner malt. There is also a slight herbal hint.
