This hop monster uses Premium American 2– Row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a solid malt foundation. Five different Hop Varieties are used in the Hop Juice. Now dry hopped with Mosaic for great aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes with the crisp bitterness of a Triple IPA.

Bouteille 355ml.

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, hoppy aroma with a touch of glue, condensed notes of orange and candied orange zest, some lemongrass, cautious hints of green Thai curry, liquorice. Taste is biting bitter hoppy, resinous and piney, caramel malty basis with almond touch, chalky overtones. Dense and concentrated - may work as nutrition for astronauts, but not for me.

Buena.

17/IX/15 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: n/a (2015-1200)

Clear deep orange beer, big irregular frothy off-white to beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: resinous, grassy, some citrus, sweet malts, caramel, ripe peaches, bit sugary. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: sweet malty start, caramel, sugary, bitter, resinous hops, lots of alcohol, pretty heavy, slightly sourish. Aftertaste: very dry, bitter, resinous, alcohol is clearly noticeable, bit fruity, some canned peaches on syrup, very bitter finish. Decent, but a bit heavy.

A dark yellow beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has caramel malts, peaches, some tropical notes and pine. Taste has caramel malts, the bitterness is nicely balancing the sweetness, pine, some herbs. Long lasting bitterness. Medium+ bodied, not sticky. Not so fresh anymore, probably quite old bottle. The strong bitterness is balancing this caramelly DIPA.

Light amber color with a white head with good retention. Aroma has resins notes with good maltiness. Flavor is mild citrusy with strong hoppy notes and some peachy hints. Good maltiness in the final with a decent bitterness.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy to transparent bronzed color with a slim finger’s worth of white foaminess that dissipated immediately leaving clingy messy lacing.
The smell had some herbal to floral sweetness rolling over a caramel maltiness.
The taste copied the smell staying sweet throughout . Barely any bitterness showed any presence. Slight caramel aftertaste and a semi-dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed decent for the style and for me. The herbal quality puncuates the palate to create a decent smoothness.
Overall, if the bitterness was brought up on this one...yeah, could be way better.
