bottle from dsnowden, thank you!
A really nice porter, big on the rosted malt, and some nice chocolate, and coffee notes. Flavour is very roasty, and finished with a nice coffee bitnerness. As it warmed i got some subtle fruitiness in the aroma, and flavour. Very enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, roast, caramel, cocoa, powdery chocolate, some liquorice, with a slight hint of campfire. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Only very mild smoke, but a pleasing Porter regardless.

Bottle, from Bottle Liquor, Morro Bay, CA. Pours hazy dark brown with small foamy beige head, sweet caramel malt aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter roasted malt taste, smooth body, long finish. Quite mellow, not bad.

Bottle pour into stemless wine glass from Valley Beverage. Appearance is opaque black with nice sparkle at the sides of the glass, chunky light sediment floating in bottom third of glass, thin cap of beige head that resolves quickly and no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, initial mint (vanishes as it warms). Taste is roasted malt with hint of tart fruit, balanced by late, milder European earthy hop bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, decent roasted malt but not much else. Fair representation of the style but not breaking any ground.

Bottle from Rakuten. A deep cola black with a tan head and a roasty oats, chocolate and hints of licorice aroma. The medium body delivers roasty chocolate, nuts and licorice. Somewhat aggressively carbonated but nice. 3.5-6 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
