Pours a dark wheat color that is hazy with a nice white head of small bubbles. Aroma has some astringencies, but also some sweet malt. Medium mouthfeel with malt sweetness on the lips. This has some nice malt notes and also a chewy wheat base. Not bad.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-golden color with a huge soapy yellow-white head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was sour, tangy, a bit skunky and grassy. The flavor was dry, bitter and tart with strong grassy hops and a bit of skunk underneath. Medium finish. Medium body. Not good.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a fluffy, fine head. Citrus hop aroma with honey and grass. Sweet flavor with honey that moves to a very dry finish. Very cean, with a Belgian-like yeastiness. Interesting dryness for a pale ale. Very nice.

This is how I wish macros tasted. Well, thatโs not really true. I might as well wish even higher as long as Iโm wishing, but this beer should be what mass appeal beer tastes like. Itโs not scary or difficult. Itโs just a well-balanced, well-hopped pale ale. Itโs relatively light with good lemony bitter notes. It looks really good in the glass, light orange with yellow highlights, a good sticky head and some fun suspension. The nose is a tad weak but good when it comes through. Itโs fresh and sweet with a crisp citric tone. The taste is similar. Lemony hops and light malt mix well into a good, calm beer. Feel can get a bit watery.

Bottle. Pours a light, honey-orange with slight haze. A pretty weak head, gone almost immediately. Modest aroma, only hints of malty sweetness. Some decent caramel malt character in the flavor, along with mild floral hop and metallic notes. Flavor is one-dimensional, though, and leaves me a bit unsatisfied. Medium bodied with low carbonation - a little odd. Iโm nearing the end of my pint glass and Iโm picking up on some nice bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall, a slow-starting beer that makes up some ground, though still finishes in the middle of the pack

A golden ale with a thick off white head. In aroma, light c-hops and chalky notes. In mouth, a crisp malt, with light quasi German hops, mineral notes, caramel malts. Light bodied. On tap at Bridgetender, Lake Tahoe, August 18, 2009.

Pours a cloudy golden color with sediment floating about. Nice sized white head that stays. Nice fruity and slightly bready aroma. Taste has very distinct fruity notes along with mild hops and enough malts to fill in the rest of the beer rather well. Yesterday was a really warm day and this was exactly what I wanted.

Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head leaves no lacing as it recedes to skim surface. Sour milk and biscuit aromas. Crisp with metallic bread upfront turning sweet in the finish.
