Nearly spit that $#!^ out. Now we fantasize about this stuff. Thinking about those hop cones… bursting with juice… ripe as all hell… makes you look forward to that first RESIN all day long. Can’t wait.
RESIN slaps you with serious unfiltered dankness — sure it stings, but it feels so good at the same time. It’s hop candy up front, but drinks super clean for the size of the beer.
Key Ingredients Chinook and Centennial Hops are a little old school, with tons of resin and pine notes. RESIN uses a ton of different hops, for a massively complex hop bouquet.

Pours hazy dark amber. Aroma of citrus. Tastes is influenced by a soft mouthfeel that allows the hops to sit on the back of the tongue. Palate includes citrus, pine, hops and resin. Alcohol on the aftertaste, certainly a heavy beer.

Resin follows a happy previous experience with Sixpoint. It comes in a six pack from the the best craft beer store in the Permian Basin, The Cellar. Cool skinny 12 oz can pours into my ABGB tulip glass, clear golden body with a diminishing off-white foam. Smells of citrus, cut pine. A drink, pretty fine, hops, grapefruit, honeydew melon, decently bitter. Mission accomplished.

Thin beige head with a larger collar sat on a rich, dark orange coloured still body. Malt forward aroma with over stewed fruit & grape. Medium to full bodied, thick, oily & viscous on the palate with a cloying, dry back. Stewed fruit, over ripe fruit, malt, grape & pine tastes with a bitter hoppy finish.

Very good, thick-set off-white head over clear copper beer. Cheesy hops' onslaught, catty, grapeseed resinoil, lupulin. Bitter-metallic, grape-like flavour. Finish has a nice fruity sweetness; again quite resiny as the name says. Hopoilslick, medium bodied; leaves a faint burning sensation backthroat. Far from bad, like it! 7/4/7/3/15

355ml can. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is resinous, piney, grapefruit, caramel. Taste is boozy, resin, pine, grapefruit, caramel, very bitter finish. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation.

Tap at BeerTemple. Bit hazy golden with big off white head. Dank hops, soft resin but really more dried fruits and some white cheese, strong caramel malts, deep bitter grass, grain husks. Over medium sweet and very bitter. Almost full bodied. Strong and very bitter. Not bad.
