Cask at Isles Inn, Portree. It pours clear blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh and grassy, floral accents, biscuit and some floury bread. The taste is pretty similar to the snout... some decent bitterness and dryness upfront, then biscuit, grass, floral vibes, hay and bread with a dry finish. Average body and fine to moderate carbonation. Fresh and in good nick helps this style out a lot. Very drinkable stuff.

Pours dark orange/amber, small white head. Aromas of ruit and malt, maybe a hint of salt. Malyt taste, crisp and refreshing with a nice afternote. Enjoyed it.

330ml bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. It's dark, almost brownish gold, clear with a soapy ring of white head and minimal lacing. Light notes of caramel, warm buttered toast and hay in the aroma. Bittersweet taste with some intense astringent bitterness mid-sip. This does out a bit, and while the finish is on the bitter side it's fairly balanced. More caramel, golden syrup and a touch of white pepper in the aftertaste. Carbonation on the heavy side. This certainly isn't a bad beer, the sliggtly higher ABV serves it well.

330ml bottle from the brewery. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light gluey, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, mineral, light floral, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A very decent and sessionable blonde.
