Cask at the Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield on 19th February 2016. Pale straw coloured with fully lacing shallow white foam. Lemony citrus, slightly soapy aroma. Grassy liquid pass with savoury touch. A bitter, grassy hop finish. Plenty of body, giving a smooth, solid mouthfeel.

On cask at Ye Olde Star Inne, York. Appearance - pale lemon with a light haze and a decent head. Nose - grapefruit grapefruit grapefruit. Taste - same again. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a good example of the style.

Cask @ Brewfactory Bar, Bradford. Straw-blonde with a creamy-smooth head. Hoppy in the main with mild tropical fruit notes behind this. There’s a dryness evident in its nose.

Cask @ Sheffield Tap [100615]
Light straw, clear, thin white head, slight lacing
Aroma of soft lemon zest, light sweet malt, clean, fresh
Taste of zesty hops, dab of grassy hops, bitter zest, hoppy for the abv
Palate is bitter with a soft sweet bit oily pale malt background, plenty of hop bitterness. Finish of bitter zest, perhaps a little harsh
Overall - Good zesty flavour for the abv

golden color. Lemon zesty fairly sharp hoppy mouth. Light and refreshing. Tastes like a million other golden ales in the UK

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear ellow with a frothy, white head. Muted citrusy hops in the nose, some dough, grain, straw. Light sweet flavor with dull, doughy biscuits, more straw, lemon rind, hints of chlorine. Light bodied with soft, fine carbonation. Finishes with wet hay, faint grass, old lemon, white bread. Not great.
