Hand pulled half pint in my local Spoons on 5th June 2025. Dark mahogany body, beige top. Malty little number with a soft caramel leaning in the nose and taste. Initially semi sweet before tapering off and becoming more bitter.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a (very) dark reddish-brown with a small cream head and good lacing. There’s malts and toffee in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet, though somewhat watery, with malts again prominent. Dark fruits and cola are also in the mix with hints of traditional hops and chocolate coming later. Sweetness lasts into the finish. This is quite nice.

Cask @ Duke of York, York. Clear dark red/brown with an ok beige head. Aroma of malts and milk chocolate. Taste of malts, milk chocolate, toffee, dried fruits and plums. Just slightly sweet and sour-ish. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Very balanced. Tasty.

Pours a clear red brown colour with a small mostly lasting creamy beige head. The aroma is malty, roasted, with some toffee and nutty notes. A moderately sweet to light sweet taste, sweet roasted malt, toffee flavours with a hint of liquorice and a nutty drying finish.

Nice and flavourful. Toasted malts with a hint of coffee. Prunes and a hint of banana esters.
