1/10 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks! It poured hazy brown body with dense, medium sized brownish head. Nice nose of coffee and caramel. Flavor was more complex, had that malty coffee and caramel base, with touch of raisins, plums, cocoa, even some oak. Medium bodied, tasty with nice longer finish, reflecting the flavor mostly. Fine porter, with alcohol being really well hidden.

Bottle in a metal cylinder, courtesy of Alex (fiulijn) to whom go my enormous thanks! Shared with ogivlado, heavy and TimE. Poured a dark brown-red body with a thick off white creamy head. Coffeeish nose, malty and soft. Nice creamy, balanced coffeeish taste, sweetish, soft, with very light notes of raisins and not much bitterness. A very good beer indeed.

Bottle, in printed metal cylinder. A clear, dark ruby beer topped by a nice, beige head. Roasted, lightly burnt nose, quite coffeeish. Some DMS too, but not disturbing. Roasted and burnt flavor too, with a little bitterness to support the roastyness driving the finish. The cooked vegetables are evident in the mouth too, but luckily very subdued. Dry on the palate. Didn’t expect much from this one, but it was a nice one. (081229)

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a clear and handsome reddish brown with a rough, beige head. Very hard roasted malt aroma. Full-bodied, sweetish hard roasted malt accents with almost coffee-like accents and vanilla. Lightly malt bitter finish. Lovely. 090209
