Draught @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Oproer Leftöver Porter ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, meat, bacon, smoked. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, smoked, dark malt, bacon, meat, sweet sod. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Tap at Oproer. Brown coloured with an offwhite head. Nose is smoked sausage, roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, smoked wood, sausage, bit of fruits. Low carbo, slight bitterness.

GBBF Day 4. Keg, Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Thin dark malts bring a dust flat feel. Some tangy fruits in there. Dry floral finish. Not that palatable really.

On tap at GBBF 2016, Olympia, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Aroma of smoke, malt and chocolate. Tastes the same, smoky, malty, chocolate, ashy. Rather disappointing to be honest.

Tap at the brewpub. Very dark brown with short lasting grey/beige head. Smoke ham, smoked fruits, light herbal notes, some ashy notes from the smoked malts, sweet toffee, elderflower lemonade. Quite fruity and smokey with some darker malts. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel that’s soft, almost watery but also fruit juice like. Very interesting.

Tap at Oproer. Almost opaque dark brown/black with little ring head. Big sweet roasted choco malts, light smoked malts. Chocolate. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body, low carbonation, bit watery feel. Choco finish.
