Tap @ UBF 2016, small sample. Hazy brown color, short frothy head. Aroma has some smoke, bit bacon, bit earthy hops, slight tea, some choc. Bit bitter in taste, slight smoke, some sweetness. Ok.

Sample from tap @ Utrechts Brouwers Fesitval 2016, with Zlotta, Caesar, Benzai & ShivanDragon. Color is not quite black. Beige head. Aroma’s: smoky, chocolate. Retronasal there’s light smoke, light fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, a bit fruity. Light bodied. Finishes light roasty, light ash, light bitter.

Sampled from tap at Brouwersfestival Utrecht 2016. Slightly hazy, dark brown with a tan head. Sweetish-malty, slightly smoky and a little roasty aroma of dark chocolate, some coffee, ash and hints of raisins. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little smoky taste of dark chocolate, coffee, ash and hints of raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Sampled @ UBF 2016. Dark brown to black color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, smoke. Taste malts, smoke, light to moderately bitter, dark malts. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer for a leftover brew.
