You’re the Devil in Disguise, oh yes you are!

We’ve been a little bit Galaxy shy for the last few years, but we’ve been working on process and technique in using this challenging varietal and it’s paying off. 🤑

This big ol’ Double was 100% hot side hopped with Citra, double dry hopped Citra, El Dorado, a heavy hand of Galaxy, and layered from start to finish with Mosaic advanced hop products.

We’re not gonna lie – this one is green and bitey, but give it some time and those beautiful passionfruit, peach, and grapefruit notes will shine through sooner than later!

Hop varieties / products: Galaxy T-90, El Dorado T-90, selected Citra T-90, selected Mosaic (DynaBoost, HyperBoost, Cryo).

2020 version: 25g/L of Kohatu, El Dorado, Vic Secret and Mosaic
2021 version: Mosaic BBC, Motueka, Vic Secret, El Dorado

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a good fine minerally crispness. Smooth palate, slightly soft, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Fluffy and fairly sweet malts. The hop combo delivers a juicy mandarin tangerine vibe, spicy too boot. Trace of mango. Modest pine. Smooth finish brings a touch of bitterish hop dust. Good stuff, pretty drinkable.

Fat på Foten. Mycket tropiska frukter. Kanske mest melon och graoefrukt. Relativt söt, men med en för stilen markerad beska på slutet.

440ml can. Sweet, chewy tropical fruity and grassy with hints of herbal notes, hints of floral notes, grapefruit and tangerine. A bit unbalanced, quite sweet and a bit stuffy.

Hoppy and fruity, some underripe mango, fairly bitter, dry finish. A ok.

02-07-20 // 440ml can shared at naiv. juicy hazy yellow. Hopy fruity nose. Tropical tocuhes, yellow fruits. Milder bitterness. Classic SD NE. Good.
