This heightened double IPA pairs a rich oaty body with a heavy dry-hop of Idaho-7, El Dorado & Citra.

The result is a tropical & hazy hop altar with notes of sweet pineapple, lychee & lime.

Traverse the Polyverse is the 3rd and final beer in our double dry-hopped IPA series. Journey Into Space is a tri-fold exploratory trip into the hop heavens. Here we explore the possibilities of the new hops we have received from Crosby Hop Farm. The result is a trilogy of interstellar hoppy beers; a SIPA, an IPA and a DIPA.

This series is focused on pairing a fresh batch of Idaho-7 with a tight selection of secondary hops, pushing ourselves into new and exciting territories.

440ml 1 month past BBE. Hazy orange, small white head, nice retention. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine resin, earthiness, lemon. Taste is passionfruit, pineapple. lemon, quite aromatic with a touch of flora/medicinal. Moderate sweetness, tartness and bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth with a soft to zingy carbonation. There is a lot going on here, an excellent beer.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, ripe yellow stonefruits, also pineapple and other tropical fruits, notes of spruce too. The flavour has some sweetness (lactose? - not on the ingredients list), otherwise the same elements as in the aroma. Low bitterness.

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy but not quite opaque golden with a lacing, white head. Lovely tropical aroma. Rich, sweet, fruity body, some bitter astringency in the finish. But the lovely aroma carries a long way. 050321
