Bottle at home from Caps and Taps, 1st October 2020. Pleased I got this one in, although it is right up on its BBE, 2nd October 2020. Regardless the beer is excellent. Pours clear, aroma is citrus, yeast and grass. Taste is complex, especially for a Pils, it’s citrus, grass, pretty floral, bitter, grapefruit. Verging on an IPL, but a great beer.

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 18/09/20. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a decent white cap of thinly knit bubbles, carbonation well evident. Nose is pale malts, cereals, lemon drizzle, grass, toasted grains, hedgerow, dusty hops. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, grass, cereals, grains, light herb, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with leafy hop bitterness. Solid refreshing pils.

Light haze on this paleish yellow gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate starts smooth and mildly dry, but fine carbonation starts to nibble away in a pleasant manner. Smooth and slightly soft malts, nicely sweet. Nice light lager character emerges in the mid. I always say lager malts, but it is as much yeast of course. The Ella hops bring pine and bitterish yellow grapefruit and a bare whisper of something tropical. Finishes semi dry and leaves a grapefruit peel bitter linger. Well bugger me, it's taken Kernel 10+ years to brew a lager but when they did they made it a cracker. Could drink this all night, my inner lager lout is most pleased.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours light hazy straw yellow gold with a thick white head. Aromas of white wine, lemon, fresh herbs. Taste brings some pils character, quite bitter, more white wine and faint zingy lemon. Bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle from Westhill SS. It pours very lightly hazy yellow - gold with a decent foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, grassy, floral, crackery malts, peppery spice and light biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, some nice bitterness, fresh grassy vibes, floral, white pepper, crackery malts, light biscuit, pithy lemon and a splash of cream soda. Finish is firmly dry. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quenching and crisp. Moreish and very drinkable.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Wish I’d bought a case. Light haze on a pale gold. Fine Kernel swede. Nose has light malt. Grassy hop. Sherbet pip sweets. Taste is satisfyingly bitter, with just a hint of grain sweetness. Clean and crisp on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Fantastic pils.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from All Good Beer HD. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Hearty lager with sturdy grassy bitterness, crispy biscuits, dried grains, hay. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Dry, bitter finish, assertive grassy notes, dirty straw, more crispy malts. It's a damn fine drink.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of crackers and parsley. Flavour of lemon and sorrel with a peppery finish. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A nicely judged Pils. Really good.
